The I Valoriza Shakers Awards recognize the best innovative attitudes of the company

In this first edition, more than 35 proposals were received from different areas

Innovation is the engine that drives us to improve every day, and Valoriza wanted to recognize the talent and creativity of its teams with the first edition of the Valoriza Shakers awards.

More than 35 proposals from different areas of the company were evaluated by a committee made up of professionals from different roles and profiles. Of these, 12 reached the final and 5 were awarded, standing out for their impact, viability and contribution to the transformation of our services.

The awards ceremony took place at the Pozo del Tío Raimundo canteen, one of Valoriza's facilities, with the presence of the evaluation committee and the management of the different areas of the company.

The event was opened by Javier San Millán and Ramón Torres, CEO and CIO of the company respectively, who highlighted the key role of innovation. Next, David Redondo and Blanca Almendro, the company's innovation leaders, explained the company's innovative philosophy, while also presenting some of Valoriza's projects that are already at the forefront of the sector.

Finally, the five awards were presented by Antonio Gutiérrez and José Luis Salegui, general managers of Urban Services and Waste Treatment.

The proposals presented covered different business areas, demonstrating that innovation is transversal and key to the evolution of projects.

• Overflowing Creativity Award: Higinio Berlanga and Patricia Yebra.
• Guardian of the Planet Award: Juan Pablo Antillera.
• Symphony Orchestra Award: Celia Rico, Jaime Gutiérrez and Pablo Hidalgo.
