Madrid, September 26th, 2024.
The newspaper La Razón recognized Valoriza during the celebration of its VIII Technology and Innovation Awards, giving it the award in the category of Innovation in the field of Environmental Services.
The company's CEO, Javier San Millán, received the award from the director of La Razón, Francisco Marhuenda, and the president of the Assembly of the Community of Madrid, Enrique Ossorio.
Valoriza has been a benchmark in the sector for more than 40 years, with a firm commitment to innovation and a clear focus: to contribute to sustainable development and the well-being of people and their environment. “Innovation does not generate value on its own, but only when it is effectively applied in the real world,” explains San Millán. This principle is reflected in the numerous projects that the company has launched, always with the aim of improving urban life and promoting the circular economy.
To give some examples of innovative projects, among them is Cents4Pack, which uses IoT technology to identify plastics in urban solid waste collection services, also encouraging local commerce. Encapsulados, where the company has managed to give a new life to end-of-life tires, promoting their recycling and reintegration into the production cycle. The use of artificial intelligence in Tris Trash detects waste outside the containers.
The recent Environmental Services Innovation Award received by the company at the Technology and Innovation Awards 2024 is an endorsement of this innovative philosophy. “This award represents a great boost to continue developing projects that improve people's lives,” says Valoriza's CEO. “This type of recognition validates the work Valoriza has been doing, and motivates us to continue betting on a future where all waste can be reconverted into resources.”
