Valoriza improves the care and conservation of Zaragoza's natural and forest areas
It is already fully established as the company awarded the service of Conservation and Maintenance of Forestry and Riverside of the capital city of Zaragoza

The new service contract for the conservation and maintenance of Zaragoza's forests and riverbanks, which was awarded to Valoriza Servicios Medioambientales, is now fully implemented. A new service that reorganizes the previous one and expands its scope of action, also improving its annual budget and doubling the number of personnel to attend to it. The contract was awarded at a final cost of 1,232,479 euros per year (VAT included). It has a duration of 4 years, which may be extended for a further year.
The service was visited by the Councilor for the Environment and Mobility, Tatiana Gaudes, accompanied by the representative for Aragon, Valencia, Balearic Islands and Murcia of Valoriza, Mario Córcoles.
The new contract adds 22 workers compared to the 12 of the previous one, plus 3 for reinforcement during the four hottest months -especially dedicated to fire prevention-. The material resources available have also been significantly improved, including 10 vehicles of different types as well as computer applications that will help in the management and supervision of the work carried out.
This service includes the planting of a minimum of 400 trees per year (poplars, elms and ashes) in the riverside sites to be determined. They must be native specimens with specific characteristics.
