Valoriza participates in the European Union Green Week
During a day in which issues related to waste treatment such as sustainability, innovation or competitiveness were discussed

Valoriza Servicios Medioambientales played a leading role in Green Week, the European Union's initiative to promote and discuss its environmental policies. This year, the theme of the conference was 'Circular solutions for a competitive EU'.
With the organization of its own 'partner event', Valoriza focused the debate on the 'Circular Economy in Spain and Europe: Sustainable Waste Treatment'. It began with a welcome speech by José Antonio García Galdón, the company's General Manager of Waste Treatment.
Then, Carles Salesa, director of Maresme Circular, explained the past, present and future of the Mataró treatment plant. Then, Eugenio Cámara, Technical Director of the Metropolitan Entity for Waste Treatment (EMTRE), explained all the work done at the Los Hornillos plant in relation to the dana suffered in Valencia.
David Redondo and Patricia Yebra, head of innovation and head of service in Guadalajara respectively, presented the experience of the Cents4Pack project, focused on the use of AI for a reward system for recycling correctly.
The day ended with an interesting round table discussion with the participants of the presentations, moderated by Ana Benavent, Director of Waste Treatment Studies and Projects at Valoriza.
