Valoriza renews its commitment with Pinto for its street cleaning and waste collection services

The new contract involves the total renovation of the machinery, new containers and economic and social improvements for the workforce

Valoriza Servicios Medioambientales will continue to be the concessionaire for street cleaning and solid urban waste collection in the town of Pinto for the next 10 years, with the possibility of a further 5-year extension. The annual value of the contract will be around 8 million euros, which adds up to a total figure of 80 million euros over the entire period (excluding extensions).

For the provision of this service, Valoriza leads a joint venture (UTE) with FCC, within a new contract that will involve the total renewal of the fleet of machinery and the set of containers in the town, while providing economic and social improvements for the current workforce.

Valoriza thus consolidates the confidence of the City Council pinteño in one of the most important services of the municipality, which has been providing since 2014. Thus, it completes an almost perfect year 2024 for the company, in which it has renewed approximately 95% of the services that were in tender and of which they were the current providers. During this time, in addition to the Pinto contract, it has also renewed services in Melilla, Sant Cugat del Vallés, Burgos (parks and gardens) and Patrimonio Nacional, among many others.

In this way, Valoriza continues to be one of the main urban services companies in the Community of Madrid, with presence also in places such as Madrid capital, Alcalá de Henares, Torrejón de Ardoz, Collado Villalba or Alcobendas, among many others.
