 The company has invested 15 million euros to renew its entire fleet of vehicles and machinery, opting for more efficient options that use compressed natural gas (CNG) or electricity. This modernization not only improves environmental sustainability, but also incorporates technological innovations that enable equipment self-diagnosis and real-time communication of work and operating data.

In addition, the new containers to be implemented stand out for their ease of use and unloading, and include Smart Elements, which make it possible to trace the information of the user who uses them and the waste they deliver, in order to improve the quality of the service. With a population of 205 thousand people and an annual collection of around 123 thousand tons of waste, Valoriza offers advanced and sustainable solutions for waste management and street cleaning, guaranteeing a cleaner and more efficient environment for the inhabitants of Santa Cruz de Tenerife.

This service includes street cleaning and waste collection, with 36-tonne collectors that optimise the number of dumpsites and improve the city's air quality. In addition, safety in operations has been enhanced through the installation of rear-view cameras and electronic anti-trapping safety systems.

This contract represents an extension of Valoriza's international activity, demonstrating the company's global expansion and operational capacity. With a team of more than 600 workers, the company serves approximately one and a half million inhabitants, managing the collection of more than 27,000 tonnes of waste. This action reflects Valoriza's commitment to improving the quality of life and sustainability in the communities where it operates.

The service includes the supply, replacement, maintenance, emptying and collection of containers for household and commercial waste, as well as the transport and unloading of this waste at treatment plants and centres. In addition, the collection and transport of the bio-waste fraction is being progressively implemented.

This service is offered for a population of approximately 1,165,000 people, and 190 new vehicles with ECO or Zero label have been incorporated to improve the efficiency and sustainability of the process. With an annual collection of around 425,000 tonnes of waste, Valoriza reinforces its commitment to responsible environmental management and improving the quality of life in Madrid.
